Kennedy Gold Mine is located right in the heart of the motherlode just off Hwy 49/88 in Jackson CA. The mine is known to be one of the deepest gold mine. Within the mining facility, still standing are some of the old tailing wheels that were actually used during the gold-rush era. The guided tours in the mine showcase the life of the miners during the golden era and showcase locations where the mining activities took place.
